As a trauma-informed breathwork coach and creative, somatic counsellor I offer gentle, grounding breathwork practices that support you in building a compassionate, embodied relationship with your nervous system.

A Gentle & Creative Approach to Breathwork

While some popular breathwork techniques like Wim Hof, rebirthing and holotropic breathwork offer powerful experiences, they can sometimes be overwhelming or dysregulating - especially for those with a sensitive nervous system or a history of trauma. I offer gentle, guided, trauma-informed breathwork practices designed to soothe, stabilise and restore.

Each session begins with breath awareness - a practice of being with your natural breath, allowing space for deep listening before introducing active techniques. Working together, we attune to your breath, body and inner world to select practices that feel nourishing, not overwhelming.

What to Expect in Breathwork Coaching

Breathwork is an active meditative practice that helps cultivate presence, emotional clarity, and deeper somatic awareness. It can support you in:

  • Reconnecting with the body after trauma

  • Regulating your nervous system gently and consistently

  • Accessing insights, emotions and healing

  • Clearing energy blocks to support authentic expression and exploration

You don’t need any prior experience - just curiosity and a willingness to meet yourself as you are.

Breathwork Sessions & Integration

I offer 1:1 breathwork coaching in Huddersfield from my peaceful, private practice in Marsden and also work online with clients across the UK and internationally.

I offer:

  • 50-minute sessions for focused work

  • 90-minute sessions to allow space for deeper breath journeys and creative integration

To support lasting change, I recommend an initial commitment to six fortnightly breathwork coaching sessions. This structure helps you:

  • Develop a consistent home practice (10 minutes a day is a good start)

  • Explore your breath/body relationship with regular guidance

  • Track changes, insights and challenges in a dedicated breathwork journal

Each session builds on the last - a co-creative process guided by your needs, goals, and lived experience.
